Position Title: Day Porter

 

Position Status: Part-Time, Temporary, Non-Exempt

(Potential opportunity for permanent placement)

 

Position Pay: $18.00- $20.00 Per/Hr. DOE

 

The Day Porter is a Part-Time, temporary, position Monday through Friday, 7am-12pm in Spokane, WA.

 

Core Responsibilities:

Maintain Cleanliness-

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and carpets. 

• Cleaning glass doors, windows, and elevator surfaces. 

• Emptying trash and recycling bins. 

• Restocking supplies in restrooms. 

• Cleaning restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors. 

Basic Maintenance-

• Changing lightbulbs. 

• Spot-mop floors and place caution signs. 

• Performing small repairs as needed. 
• Painting

Other Duties-

• Maintaining the appearance of common areas, such as lobbies and hallways. 

• Cleaning up spills and messes promptly. 

• Assisting with event setup and cleanup. 

• Reporting maintenance issues to the appropriate staff. 

 

Safety-

• Ensuring a safe and clean environment for employees, visitors, and customers.
