Position Title: National Sales Assistant

Position Status: Full-time, non-exempt

Position Pay: $16.50 Per/ Hr.

About us: NonStop Local ABC/FOX Montana is Western Montana’s leader in local news, weather and sports coverage on television and digital platforms! Affiliated with the ABC/FOX network, KTMF serves the Missoula market along with viewership across Montana through our broadcast network of Cowles Montana Media stations.

About this role:

Full-time Sales Assistant needed Mon-Fri 8a-5p to work in a fast paced and fun broadcast television station where culture is the key to our success. You watch us on your TV and on your phone so come work with us behind the scenes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Answer telephones, screens and direct calls
• Take and relay messages in a timely manner.
• Greet visitors to the station
• Sort and distribute mail
• Assist National Sales Manager with National Sales Clients and Order Entries
• Manage office stock supply
• Data entry and support role within the sales department for KTMF-TV
• Local and regional accounts order entry
• Generating sales reports
• Sales software data input
• Power Point Sales presentation building
• Assist in scheduling department and client meetings with the team
• Assist with fill-in Front Desk duties when required; Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Other duties assigned

 

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environment
• Friendly demeanor and be a team player
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Ability to work on tight deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
• Independent worker and self-starter
• Ability to learn new digital applications
• Wide Orbit knowledge is a bonus
• Office Experience 1+ years preferred
• High School Diploma is required
• Broadcast television experience is preferred

Physical Requirements and demands:

• Ability to operate a computer, including keyboard and mouse input, for extended periods
• Work is primarily performed in a seated position at a workstation
• Occasional standing, walking, and movement throughout the office environment
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds, such as computer equipment and office supplies
• Ability to perform general office upkeep tasks, including distributing supplies
